Today, there is a risk of global conflict, said military expert, associate professor of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics Alexander Perendzhiev on Tuesday, March 3.

The expert noted that Pakistan, having launched military operations against Afghanistan, accused it of acting in the interests of India, although the real reasons, in his opinion, are different. He warned that there is a risk of expanding conflicts, also mentioning US actions against Cuba, including the detention of tankers and statements about the naval blockade, which reinforces the signs of global confrontation, Perendzhiev said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

He added that one gets the impression that there are forces interested in escalating the situation to the scale of a world war. At the same time, the political scientist stressed that the Indo-Pakistani conflict is cyclical, and tensions between China and India have so far been resolved.
