Putin discussed the digital ruble with the head of the federal Treasury

On March 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting in the Kremlin with the head of the Federal Treasury, Roman Artyukhin. One of the topics of discussion was the use of the digital ruble.

"Last year, on your instructions, we conducted piloting. <...> The first payment, an administrative fine, was paid by one person in digital rubles. The year has just begun, and the first 1.5 thousand rubles have already been received in digital rubles," Artyukhin reported.
