President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on his 60th birthday. This was announced on March 3 in the press service of the President of the Republic.

"In Belarus, you are highly valued as an experienced statesman, a purposeful and energetic head of the government of the Russian Federation with firm principles of life, capable of successfully implementing bold plans and implementing new solutions," Lukashenko's press service quoted him as saying on his website.

The Belarusian leader expressed confidence that thanks to Mishustin, relations between Russia and Belarus will continue to strengthen "for the benefit of the fraternal peoples of our countries." He also wished the politician health, happiness and inexhaustible strength to carry out strategic tasks.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Russia and Belarus on February 2 that the Russian-Belarusian trade turnover in 11 months of 2025 approached 4 trillion rubles. The Head of Government also recalled the cooperation between Moscow and Minsk in the field of personnel training and the new operating conditions of the Belarusian-Russian University. About 4 thousand students are already studying at the university, Mishustin added.
