The ENERGOPROM Forum will be held in Tatarstan
The Kazan International Electric Power Forum "ENERGOPROM" will be held in Tatarstan from April 1-3. What awaits the forum participants was discussed at the press conference.
The videoconference press conference was opened by Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Eduard Sheremettsev. In his speech, he stressed the importance of the upcoming event and the role of the Republic of Tatarstan in the development of the forum. He recalled that the Russian Ministry of Energy had approved a list of key industry events in which the agency was actively involved as an organizer and co-founder. The main venue remains the Russian Energy Week. At the same time, following the visit of Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev to Kazan last year, it was decided that the Russian Ministry of Energy would become one of the co-organizers of the Energoprom Forum.
According to Eduard Sheremettsev, the forum demonstrates a high level of organization and serious international potential. This year, the number of participants in the event has almost doubled. The forum will be attended by Sergey Tsivilev, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.
The Deputy Minister also noted that today the Russian energy sector faces serious challenges — the development of technology, industry and the growth of electricity consumption. In this regard, the Ministry of Energy is launching a new investment cycle within the framework of the approved industry development strategy.
"The Energoprom Forum, which will be held from April 1-3 in the Republic of Tatarstan, will allow participants to find new partners, discuss existing technological challenges and identify ways to solve them," he stressed.
Oleg Korobchenko, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, delivered the main report. He said that in 2026, the forum's program includes 43 business events and 22 Youth Day events, and the forum's work will be structured along eight key thematic tracks covering issues of public policy, business development, science, human resources and investment attraction.
The first day of the forum will be devoted to a specialized industry agenda, including panel sessions on energy development, industry order formation and digitalization. The key day will be April 2, when the grand opening of the forum and the main events will take place with the participation of Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev.
The program will pay special attention to the development of domestic energy engineering, the creation of fully localized generation, as well as international cooperation, including with the CIS, SCO, BRICS, ASEAN and African countries.
The third day of the forum will be a Youth Day, during which interactive formats are planned, providing for a lively dialogue between young specialists and representatives of energy companies.
Also, on the eve of the forum, from March 16 to March 31, the Russian Engineering School educational project is planned to be held in all regions of the country
with the Russian Society "Znanie". Classes on the history and development of energy will be held in schools, as well as guided tours to energy enterprises.
Marat Bukharaev, General Director of JSC Industrial Development Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about the specialized energy exhibition. He noted that already at the stage of preparation, the exhibition demonstrates high interest from the professional community.
The total area of the exhibition pavilion is 10 thousand square meters. m. At the same time, almost 80% of the area has already been booked. The volume of exhibition space sold currently exceeds the scale of the entire exhibition last year by 20%, which clearly confirms the growing interest in the forum and its exhibition area.
The geography of the participants covers more than 20 regions of Russia, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan, the regions of the Volga region, the Urals, Siberia and the south of the country, as well as three foreign countries — China, the Republic of Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic. For example, the Republic of Belarus is planning an exhibition with an area of more than 100 square meters, which will house seven Belarusian companies.
At the end of the press conference, the speakers recalled the results of the forum last year: 10,000 participants, 7,000 square meters of exhibition space, 20 regions of Russia and 7 countries, 90 exhibitors, 232 business meetings and 10 signed agreements.
The organizers expressed confidence that the ENERGOPROM 2026 in federal status will not only maintain, but also surpass these indicators, strengthening the status of the forum as one of the leading industry platforms in the country.
