Four defendants in the case of the attempted assassination of General of the Armed Forces of Russia Vladimir Alekseev have been added to the list of terrorists and extremists. This became known on March 3 from the updated information on the Rosfinmonitoring website.

Lubomir Korba, Zinaida Serebritskaya, as well as Viktor and Pavel Vasin were added to the updated list of Rosfinmonitoring.

An attempt on the life of General of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Alekseev took place on February 6 in Moscow. The victim was hospitalized. The next day, February 7, Alekseev regained consciousness. A criminal case has been opened into the incident. In addition, the Moscow Prosecutor's office took control of the investigation of the case under articles on attempted murder and illegal trafficking of firearms. Later, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that an article on encroachment on the life of a military man had been added to the case.

The participants in the assassination attempt, Korba and Viktor Vasin, pleaded guilty to the crime on February 9. The next day, it became known about the detention of the third person involved, Pavel Vasin. According to the FSB of the Russian Federation, Korba was trained at a shooting range in Kiev. He was recruited by the SBU with the assistance of Poland.
