An EMERCOM plane will deliver Russian citizens who evacuated from Iran from Azerbaijan. This was announced on March 3 by the press service of the Ministry.

"The IL-76 aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations will deliver Russian citizens from Azerbaijan. A special board of the emergency department took off from Zhukovsky airport near Moscow to transport Russian citizens to Moscow who left the territory of Iran through land checkpoints," the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.

It is specified that the citizens will be accompanied by doctors from the Centrospas detachment and specialists from the Ministry's Emergency Psychological Assistance Center. According to the report, the export was prepared on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin and on behalf of the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Kurenkov.
