The head of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, demanded a report on a criminal case on the violation of the rights of residents of an apartment building on Sadovnicheskaya Street in Moscow. This was reported on March 3 in the press service of the Investigative Committee.

Earlier, the REN TV channel filmed a story about an illegal extension at one of the capital's residential buildings. Because of it, the foundation of the house sagged, cracks formed on the facade, and the walls began to freeze. After the publication of the materials, a criminal case was initiated.

According to the investigation, the residents' consent to the reconstruction of the house was falsified, after which unknown persons personally erected an extension. Despite the court's decision to dismantle it, it is still in place.

"The Chairman of the Investigative Committee, A.I. Bastrykin, instructed the head of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city of Moscow, D.V. Belyaev, to submit a report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case and the circumstances established," the press service of the Investigative Committee wrote on the Telegram channel.

The day before, residents of a high-rise building in the center of Moscow, who fear collapse due to an illegal extension, demanded that a criminal case be opened. Damage is already visible on the building, but even this did not become a reason for the demolition of the building itself.

Earlier, at the end of January, it was reported that the owner of the illegal extension had not officially worked a day. According to neighbors, Nadezhda Domokurova generally leads a reclusive lifestyle. The interests of the woman in Moscow are represented by her lawyers.

On November 7, it became known about the beginning of court proceedings in a high-profile case about the possible forgery of signatures of apartment owners for the construction of an illegal extension. The owners of the capital's residential complex want justice and demand the demolition of an illegal extension that threatens their home.
