An 80-year-old pensioner was rescued from snow captivity in the Lipetsk region.

An 80-year-old woman was rescued from a tender captivity in the Lipetsk region. She was trapped in her own house, the press service of the regional department of the State Border Guard Service reported.

The rescue operation took place in the village of Polovnevo, Krasninsky district. The pensioner was unable to leave her house due to snow falling from the roof and turned to specialists.

According to GOROD48, the duty shift of the fire department No. 26 from the village of Shcherbakovo promptly arrived at the place and cleared the exit from the house. The elderly woman was not injured.

Earlier, a similar incident occurred in the Moscow region. A pensioner was hit by an avalanche of snow that fell from the roof of a private house. The man was hospitalized with a hip fracture.
