On March 3, Dmitry Yakovlev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Krylia Sovetov, commented on the information about salary delays at the Samara club, assuring that all debts to the players would be repaid by mid-March.

According to him, before the New Year, the club made all the necessary salary payments in advance. Management predicted a possible lack of extra-budgetary funds after the closure of debts to RT-Capital. Yakovlev recalled that the bulk of the debt was repaid at the expense of his own funds and the sale of collateral ("House of Industry").

"As of today, the existing salary arrears for football players will be closed by March 15," the chairman of the Board of Directors emphasized in an interview with Sport—Express.

At the same time, he noted that employees of the club, the base, the Academy and the Football Development Support Fund of the Samara region received and are receiving salaries according to the schedule, as these payments are made from extra-budgetary sources.

On February 2, the Krylia Sovetov press service announced that the club had fully repaid its debt to RT-Capital, a subsidiary of Rostec State Corporation. The club also promised to double every amount transferred by fans to repay the debt, and send these funds to charity.
