GAC launches sales of new premium crossover

The new GAC S7 will cost in Russia from 5.7 million rubles excluding special offers. This was reported in a press release from the Chinese company on March 3.

The GAC S7 is an all—wheel drive sequential hybrid. The power plant consists of a gasoline engine with a capacity of 156 hp (115 kW), acting as a generator, and two traction electric motors with a total capacity of 340 hp. From a standstill to 100 km / h, the crossover accelerates in 6.7 s. The battery capacity of 36.3 kWh provides a power reserve on electric power up to 153 km, the total declared power reserve - 867 km— The manufacturer promises that batteries from 30 to 80% can be charged in just 18 minutes.

The crossover will be available in two trim levels on the Russian market. In the basic version (5,699,000 rubles), it is equipped with 20-inch wheels, fully LED headlights, dual-zone climate control with physical keys, front seats with ventilation and massage, and a panoramic roof. The winter package includes a fully heated windshield, heated windshield washer nozzles, heated front and rear seats, and a steering wheel.

The multimedia system with a 15.6-inch display and 12 speakers supports wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as Yandex and VK services.

10 airbags, an L2-level electronic assistant system, and an all-round viewing system with a "transparent chassis" function are responsible for safety.

The SX Premium package (6 million 49 thousand rubles) includes door closers, soundproof glazing of the first and second rows, interior trim in Nappa leather, faux suede and eco-leather, premium audio system with 21 speakers, massage of the second row seats, automatic parking system (FAPA) and a projector on the windshield.

The GAC S7 is available in eight body colors: black, ultra-black, white, white with a black roof, gray, matte gray, green and matte green. There are three interior options: dark, light and terracotta.

The warranty for the car is 5 years or 150,000 km of mileage, and for the elements of the hybrid system it has been increased to 8 years.
