Brunei has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit the country at any time convenient for him. This was announced on March 3 by the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam, Erivan Yusof.

"His Majesty (Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei. He asked me to extend an invitation to President Putin to visit Brunei when it is convenient for him," he said at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
