Kravtsov announced the introduction of an oral history exam for ninth graders

From the 2027-2028 academic year, 9th grade students will take an oral history exam before the main state exam. This was announced on March 3 by the head of the Ministry of Education Sergey Kravtsov at a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Historical Education.

The meeting was led by Vladimir Medinsky, Assistant to the President and Chairman of the Commission. He recalled that today's date, March 2, is notable for several historical events at once: the day of the election of the first Romanov to the kingdom in 1613 and the 165th anniversary of the manifesto on the abolition of serfdom.
