Aeroflot's first outbound flight SU525D from Dubai to Moscow took off at 8:57 a.m. Moscow time (9:57 a.m. local time) with a full load. This was announced on March 3 by the airline's press service in the Telegram channel.

There are 159 passengers on board, including three children under the age of two. The flight is operated with an intermediate landing in Antalya for refueling.

Two more outbound flights are scheduled on the same day: SU525 from Dubai and SU531 from Abu Dhabi.

Earlier, on March 2, it was reported that Dubai airports will reopen on the evening of March 2, they will serve a small number of flights. It was noted that information about departures can be clarified with the airlines. At the same time, it became known that Aeroflot would begin operating outbound flights from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on March 3.

The airports of Dubai, the largest city in the UAE, have suspended their operations indefinitely due to the escalation of the conflict between Israel, the United States and Iran. Because of this, thousands of Russians remained abroad, in particular in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). However, on March 2, the Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi sent the first plane since the beginning of the day. Later, check-in for 10 flights began at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi.

The head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Dmitry Yadrov, said that the agency would consider the possibility of imposing restrictions on the sale of air tickets to the Middle East. He said that about 23 thousand Russian citizens are in the countries of the region. The first flight from Abu Dhabi has already taken off, and another one is scheduled for tomorrow.
