The servicemen told the details of the liberation of Rozhdestvenskoye settlement

Military personnel of the 37th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces completed the liberation of the village of Rozhdestvenskoye in the Zaporizhia region as a result of decisive offensive actions. This was reported on March 3 in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is noted that during the active clashes, they advanced to a depth of 6 km west of the village of Ternovatoe. In the liberated zone, measures have been taken to clear the territory of the remnants of enemy units. More than 350 buildings were taken under control, as well as a defense area with a total area of about 10 square kilometers.

The Russian Defense Ministry clarified that the enemy was trying to hold its position, but these attempts were unsuccessful.

An attack aircraft with the call sign Firs spoke about the course of the operation under the cover of weather conditions and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

"We came in the morning, in the fog — this is the most appropriate moment. There are fewer enemy drones operating, and you can pass unnoticed. <...> The connection is stable, we work on domestic walkie-talkies. When we were providing a corridor for the main group, we were hit by a dump, but that didn't stop us. <...> There were machine-gun emplacements in the center of the settlement, they were bypassed and suppressed. It was hard, but the task was completed," Firs explained.

The squad leader with the call sign Footy spoke about the work of two groups and the role of stable communication.

"The commander accompanied us from the air. There was a building with machine gunners in the center of the village. We worked in two groups: one distracted, the other came in. After the first floor, there were still fighters in the basement. They offered to surrender, and then they acted according to the situation," the commander said.

He also noted that the communication of domestic production remains stable and without interference, commands and reports are always transmitted in a timely manner.

"We went in pairs: one distracts, the other is advancing. <...> Our UAVs correct the movement, tell us how to go. We are constantly in touch: we have passed, we have gained a foothold, we have reported. Then we act on command. The connection has never failed, always clearly and without delay," explained the stormtrooper with the call sign Long.

As a result of the clashes, the enemy lost up to a company of manpower, 10 armored combat vehicles and 12 heavy hexacopters of the Baba Yaga type.

The units of the Vostok group have gained a foothold on the reached borders and continue to hit the identified targets in the tactical depth of the enemy's defense. Objective control confirms the complete liberation of the settlement and the expansion of the control zone in this direction.
