Trump and Netanyahu discussed the threat posed by Iran two years ago
US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed the alleged threat posed by Iran two years ago during a meeting at the Mar-a-Lago residence. This was announced on March 2 by the Israeli Prime Minister on the Fox News channel.
"We met at Mar-a-Lago, and the first thing Donald Trump said to me was, 'You know, we need to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons.' That's all. He said this because he believed it was a clear and present threat to the security and well—being of the United States," Netanyahu said.
He added that Iran's ruling regime is "fanatical" and attacks both Americans and Jews, as well as Arabs themselves.
