The next stage of the US military operation against Iran will be even "more severe" compared to the previous ones. This was announced on March 2 by United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a speech to the American Congress.

He noted that the most serious attacks on the republic had not yet been inflicted.

"I will not disclose the details of our tactical efforts. However, the most serious strikes by the American armed forces have not yet been inflicted. The next stage [of the operation] will be even more severe for Iran than the current one," Rubio said.
