Medvedev proposed to dissolve the IOC and the Olympic Movement

The entire Olympic Movement and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) should be rebuilt based on the original principles of its founder Pierre de Coubertin. This statement was made on March 2 by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.

"The IOC and the Olympic movement must be dissolved and reassembled, remembering the precepts of Pierre de Coubertin," he replied to questions from TASS.
