Etihad and Oman Air flights from Moscow are scheduled for the evening of March 2.

Etihad Airways and Oman Air flights from Moscow to Abu Dhabi and Muscat, respectively, were scheduled for the evening of March 2. This was reported by the press service of Sheremetyevo Airport.

"Etihad Airways flight EY844 en route Moscow — Abu Dhabi. Scheduled departure time: 23:50 Moscow time; Oman Air flight WY184 en route Moscow — Muscat. Scheduled departure time: 22:20 Moscow time," the press service said in a Telegram channel message.

The message also emphasized that Sheremetyevo Airport services serve aircraft and their passengers in full in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and established regulations.

On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Transport announced that Russian airlines were preparing to resume flights to the Middle East. According to the ministry, the airspace of 10 countries is currently closed against the background of escalation in the region: Israel, Iran, Iraq, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Syria. Flights to nine of them have been suspended. Last weekend, 216 flights were canceled, most of them between Russia and the UAE. More than 10 thousand ticket refunds have been issued.
