The fire at the fuel terminal in Novorossiysk, which arose at night as a result of a drone attack, has been completely extinguished. This was announced on March 2 by the mayor of the city Andrey Kravchenko.

"The fire at the fuel terminal, which occurred at night in Novorossiysk as a result of the UAV attack, has been eliminated," Kravchenko wrote in a Telegram message.

The mayor also said that the fire was localized on an area of 120 square meters. m. 25 people and nine pieces of equipment were involved in eliminating the fire.

On the same day, the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported that in Novorossiysk, a fire broke out at the fuel terminal's loading dock as a result of attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Prior to that, Kravchenko had reported on the same day that one person had been injured as a result of falling debris. It was clarified that four residential buildings were damaged. Kravchenko also ordered an inspection of each affected building to fix all the damage.
