Practical shooting competitions were held among Moscow police officers
Over a hundred police representatives took part in practical shooting competitions that took place in Moscow. Izvestia on Monday, March 2, publishes footage from the event.
The participants competed not only in accuracy, but also in endurance — they dragged 80-kilogram dummies, shot at moving targets and showed skills to preserve team spirit, because points were counted not only for personal, but also for overall performance.
The 30 teams included those who had already successfully led in the previous stages of the competition. The winners were gathered in specially decorated halls and offered to perform 12 exercises.
"Each exercise has been specially complicated. Some of the targets here are hit from the car, some on the move. There are also penalties if the shooter stepped over the line, as I am now, or hit a white target that imitates a hostage," Roman Polshakov, a correspondent for Izvestia, said.
The contestants who talked to him admitted that the moving targets were the most difficult for them. It is noted that girls also participated in the tournament. One of them, Anna Buslaeva, a policeman from the 6th battalion of the 2nd SPP of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow, stressed that she and her colleagues should always be ready to protect their neighbors.
Oleg Baranov, the head of the Moscow Interior Ministry, personally awarded those who showed the best results. Moscow police officers will now compete for the cup annually.
"This is the most important professional quality that can be useful in order to safely organize public order protection in the capital," he said.
On February 19, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina announced that the Moscow Cluster of Video Games and Animation, operating on the basis of the Skolkovo Innovation Center, was launching a new series of events, Cybersubbots. According to her, these monthly meetings will bring together industry professionals and anyone interested in creating and developing video games. She clarified that the teachers of MIREA, the Russian University of Technology, the HSE School of Design, well—known streamers, HR specialists and art directors of large companies were invited to participate.
