In Yakutia, 5% of bottled water was found to be non-compliant
About 5% of bottled water in Yakutia does not meet the established requirements. These are the data from a study by the regional Rospotrebnadzor conducted in 2025.
According to IA YakutiaMedia, with reference to the agency, 988 samples of drinking water packaged in containers were examined last year for sanitary-chemical, microbiological, physico-chemical, and parasitological indicators. The proportion of water samples that did not meet the standards was 4.6%. Of these, 1.2% did not meet the requirements for physico-chemical parameters, and 3.4% did not meet the requirements for microbiological parameters.
All tested samples met the mandatory requirements, including the content of nitrates, pesticides and toxic elements.
The sanitary service advised to pay attention to the tightness of the bottle when purchasing it. It, like food products, must have all the attributes of labeling, and the water must be clear and without sediment.
