The pilot of an American fighter jet shot down over Kuwait has been detained. This was announced on March 2 by the Iranian TV channel SNN in the Telegram channel.

"Al Jazeera TV channel confirms the news of the downing of an American fighter jet by publishing footage of the humiliation of an American pilot in Kuwait," the statement said.
