The explosions occurred in the area of the satellite city of Karaj in northern Iran, as well as in several districts of Tehran. This was reported by the Mehr news agency on March 2.

"Several loud explosions were heard in the vicinity of Karaj. <...> Explosions can be heard in some areas of Tehran," the Telegram channel said.
