Russians were told about a way to get some benefits for pensioners

Some benefits for pensioners can only be obtained by personally contacting the Social Fund of Russia (SFR). Lyudmila Ivanova-Shvets, Associate Professor of the Basic Department of Human Resource Management at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, told about this on March 2.

"Such benefits include: an additional payment to pensioners who have dependents, an additional payment for rural service <...> the allowance for care, which is determined for pensioners upon reaching the age of 80. Pensioners should also personally apply for a subsidy to pay for housing and communal services if their expenses are higher than the level set in the region," the economist said in an interview with the Prime agency.
