Russian tennis players cannot leave Dubai due to the closed airspace, which is associated with the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East. This was announced on March 1 by sports journalist Rim Abulleil.

According to the journalist, flights were canceled until 15:00 on March 2, but restrictions can be extended.

At the moment, the participation of athletes in the tournament has proved difficult. The ATP may consider the departure of tournament participants via Oman or Riyadh.
