Gunners of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed an ammunition depot and two observation posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

An artillery unit of the "Southern" group of forces, with the support of unmanned aircraft, destroyed an ammunition depot and two observation posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Konstantinovsky direction in the area of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on March 2 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

During aerial reconnaissance, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) discovered a field ammunition depot and two observation posts located in a residential building. The coordinates of the targets were promptly transmitted to the artillery control points for fire damage.

According to the ministry, as a result of the coordinated strike, the ammunition depot was destroyed. After hitting it, an explosion occurred. The observation posts were also completely destroyed. It is specified that along with the objects, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who were in positions were destroyed.

The new complexes are guaranteed to destroy firing points during attacks on enemy fortified areas.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that on March 1, air defense systems eliminated 57 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of Russia within three hours. It is specified that 18 drones were shot down over the Black Sea, 15 drones were destroyed over the Republic of Crimea, nine UAVs were intercepted over the Sea of Azov. Eight drones were eliminated over the Bryansk region, five over the territory of the Kursk region and one each over the Belgorod Region and Krasnodar Territory.
