Seven high-ranking Iranian generals were killed as a result of strikes by the United States and Israel, five of them served in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). This was announced on March 1 by the Tashim agency.
"The death of a number of high—ranking Iranian military leaders has been confirmed as a result of the terrorist attack by the United States and the Zionist regime in Tehran on Saturday morning," the agency said in a statement.
