France is moving the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and its strike group to the Eastern Mediterranean amid escalating conflict in the Middle East. This was announced on March 1 by BFMTV.

"The French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and its strike group are interrupting their mission in the Baltic Sea to head to the eastern Mediterranean," the statement said.

Earlier, the aircraft carrier participated in Orion-26 military maneuvers.

On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a large-scale military operation in Iran. Trump called her goal "protecting the American people." Israel and the United States have carried out numerous attacks on military and civilian targets in Iran, including a school in the city of Minab.
