Cloudy, light precipitation (rain, sleet), sometimes icy — this weather awaits residents of the capital region on Monday, March 2. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow will range from +4 to +2 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to -2.

In the Moscow region, it will be from +4 to -1 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to -1. Westerly, southwesterly, northwesterly winds with a speed of 6-11 m/s are expected.

The atmospheric pressure will be 744-748 mmHg.

On February 27, Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, told what kind of weather is expected in Moscow and the Moscow region in early March. He noted that the first day of spring will bring long-awaited, albeit slight, warming to residents of the capital region: temperatures will rise above zero, and the snow will begin to melt gradually, although this process will be intermittent.
