The most profitable days for ordering flowers by March 8 have been named
The biggest rush to buy flowers falls on the two days before the holiday — March 6th and 7th. This year, it is expected that demand on these days will grow 5-10 times compared to the average number of purchases in other periods. Yuri Semichastnov, head of courier services at the Flowwow flower and gift marketplace, told Izvestia about this.
"48 hours before the holiday, the increase in the cost of delivery can reach 50% compared to the standard tariff. Free couriers are distributed quickly, and attracting additional ones requires increased costs. The same story is on the side of florists, who are starting to shape their workload," explained Yuri Semichastnov.
According to the expert, the optimal time for placing an order is from March 1 to March 3. Flower shops receive new supplies and understand which bouquets will already be collected for the holiday. This allows you to distribute the workload among employees.
"The most popular time for giving gifts is from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Most people want to present their bouquet in the morning, but not too early. During this period of time, pre—orders that florists have collected since the morning are most often placed," the expert noted.
If you cannot choose a bouquet in advance, the expert advises you to pay attention to later delivery intervals. This reduces the likelihood of delays and facilitates logistics for stores.
It is also recommended to pay attention to the location of the seller. Stores located closer to the recipient's address, as a rule, provide more stable delivery in conditions of high traffic and city traffic jams.
"If you do make a gift at the last moment, choose high-rated stores. Most often, ratings are given specifically for logistics and fast order processing. The stores that handle Avral already have a proven staff of florists and couriers who will help solve this problem," commented Semichastnov.
In addition, the expert advises paying attention not only to flowers, but also to other gifts: handmade chocolate sets, jewelry, sweets and dried fruits. For example, chocolate-covered strawberries are less in demand than flowers, so they may be available for fast delivery.
On February 28, Angara Security experts reported on a fraudulent scheme with flower delivery from "fans". In the run-up to March 8, there has been a sharp increase in fake websites imitating the pages of popular online stores on the Internet and messengers. Scammers lure victims with "unique offers" and discounts that disappear after payment for a non-existent product, leaving the buyer without money and without a gift.
