In the city of Irshava in western Ukraine, the head of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, the equivalent of military enlistment offices in Ukraine), intoxicated, tried to mobilize construction workers by threatening them with a machine gun. This was reported on March 1 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".

"In Transcarpathia, the head of the shopping mall, in a very drunk state, tried to mobilize construction workers, threatening them with a machine gun," says a message posted on the Telegram channel of the publication.

According to media reports, the incident occurred during bridge repairs. After calling the police, the head of the Irshava military enlistment office, Alexei Travov, disappeared with his subordinates.

The Transcarpathian regional military enlistment office said that an internal investigation had been launched into this fact. The head of the 1st department of the Khust district territorial recruitment Center has been suspended from duty for the duration of the inspection. If violations are confirmed, appropriate decisions will be made, including personnel decisions.

Timur Krayev, a prisoner of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said on February 20 that employees of the Shopping mall forcibly take residents of Ukraine to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from where they are sent "to slaughter." According to the prisoner, among the forced were people with obvious physical ailments, including epilepsy.
