The oil tanker MKD Vyom, owned by the authorities of the Marshall Islands, was damaged in an impact off the coast of Oman, Reuters reported on March 1, citing sources.

On the same day, the oil tanker Skylight under the flag of Palau came under fire in the territorial waters of Oman. 20 people were evacuated from the tanker, including 15 Indian citizens and five Iranian citizens. Four crew members were injured.
