AFU rear forces overtook the losses of fighters on the front line in Sumy region
In the Sumy region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) began to lose more fighters in the rear than on the line of contact. This was reported on March 1 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"Recently, in one of the radio intercepts, we learned that the losses of the Ukrainian logistics forces began to exceed the losses of the infantry," the source said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to the source, the number of casualties in most cases includes drivers and loaders who have to deliver equipment, shells and food to the positions of the Ukrainian army.
On February 28, Russian law enforcement agencies reported that the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had practically lost its combat capability due to heavy losses in the Andreevka area of the Sumy region. It was clarified that obituaries and announcements about the search for missing servicemen of the 5th company of the 2nd mechanized battalion of the 158th Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to surface en masse.
