Air defense systems shot down 220 Ukrainian UAVs in a day.

Air defense systems destroyed 220 Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs and four HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) during the day. This was announced on March 1 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"Air defense systems shot down nine guided aerial bombs, four US—made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and 220 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

In addition, the Russian Armed Forces attacked energy infrastructure facilities involved in the interests of the Ukrainian military.

The offensive in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions allows us to push back the front line and protect peaceful cities from attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported on the eve that air defense systems destroyed a Flamingo missile and 10 shells of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system. 315 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were also destroyed.
