Rallies have begun in the country against the background of the death of Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. This was reported by the Fars news agency on March 1.

Participants of the rallies in the squares chant slogans "Death to America" and "Death to Israel", waving flags of the country and portraits of Khamenei.

On February 28, the United States announced the start of a large-scale military operation with Israel against Iran. The Israeli and American military attacked the republic, including a school in the city of Minab. According to the latest data, 148 children died as a result of the attack.
