Brigade Commander of the 15th artillery Reconnaissance Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) A. Popov, who gave the order to attack the civilian infrastructure of Belgorod, disappeared near Lviv. This was reported on March 1 in the law enforcement agencies.

"Responsibility for participating in a massive terrorist attack on the civilian infrastructure of Belgorod (on the night of February 26-27) was assumed by the 15th separate Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The order was given by brigade commander A.A. Popov," a representative of the security forces said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
