Boris Tezikov, director and artistic director of the Simferopol State Circus, has died at the age of 65. This was announced by the general director of the Bolshoi Moscow Circus, Edgard Zapashny.

"It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that Boris Borisovich Tezikov, director and artistic director of the Boris Tezikov Simferopol State Circus, died today at the age of 66," Zapashny wrote on his Telegram channel.

Tezikov was born on September 22, 1960. He devoted his life to circus art. After graduating from the Moscow Circus School, he performed as a juggler for 25 years, and then proved himself to be a talented organizer, working in Mexico with world impresarios. Since 1997, he headed the Simferopol Circus, which was named after his father, Boris Nikolaevich Tezikov.
