More than 1,8 thousand flights in the Middle East scheduled for this Saturday were canceled amid Iranian strikes, and more than 700 flights were canceled on Sunday. This was reported on March 1 by the New York Times (NYT) newspaper, citing sources.

"According to the Cirium analytical company, about 700 flights to and from the Middle East were canceled on Sunday. <...> On Saturday, more than 1,8 thousand flights were canceled in the region," the newspaper said.

It is noted that the number of delays may increase overnight, as more and more airlines are now making adjustments to their schedules.
