On March 1, a tourist from Russia, Nadezhda Morozova, told Izvestia about what was happening at the Burj al Arab Hotel in Dubai after the Iranian drone attack.

"Anyway, the alerts on our iPhones went off, and the hotel administration said, <...> go down to the basement," she said.

According to her, many people went down to the parking lot, but some stayed outside.

The Clash Report platform reported on March 1 that the five-star Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai was damaged in an Iranian attack. The Israeli Ynet portal reported on the same day that Dubai International Airport was damaged after the Iranian attack. The press service of the city government added that four people were injured as a result of the incident.

Israel attacked Iran on the morning of February 28. Also, the American leader Donald Trump announced the beginning of a US military operation against Iran. Military installations in western Iran, the residence of the country's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as well as an elementary school in the city of Minab were hit.

Later, Iran fired rockets towards Israel. Four US military bases in Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain were attacked, as well as the US Fifth Fleet service center. At the same time, the IDF launched a massive airstrike on military installations in western Iran.

Russian Leader Vladimir Putin discussed the situation around Iran with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov condemned the "unprovoked armed attack" by the United States and Israel on Iran.
