The Russian Embassy in Qatar called on Russians staying in the country to take precautions. It follows from the message of the diplomatic mission on February 28.

"We urge <...> take reasonable precautions. Do not travel long distances in the city and beyond," reads a message posted on the department's Telegram channel.

Russians who arrived in Qatar as tourists were advised by the embassy to maintain close contact with the tour operator and the hotel administration.

Earlier, tourists from Russia reported problems with flights from the UAE and Israel due to attacks on Iran. Dubai airports have suspended operations indefinitely due to the escalation in the region. Passengers were advised not to come to airports during the restrictions and to contact their airlines to clarify departure times.

At the same time, Aeroflot canceled all flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi on February 28 amid attacks by Iran and Israel.
