The leader of Ansar Allah declared his readiness to support Iran

The Yemeni Houthis from the Ansar Allah movement will support the Iranian side in the conflict with Israel and the United States. This was announced on February 28 by the leader of the movement, Abdel Malik al-Houthi.

"We are fully prepared for any eventuality. Within the framework of our <...> solidarity with the Islamic Republic. <...> We will take actions in various directions," he said on the Al Masirah TV channel.

Israel attacked Iran on the morning of February 28. Also, the American leader Donald Trump announced the beginning of a US military operation against Iran. Military installations in western Iran, the residence of the country's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as well as an elementary school in the city of Minab were hit.

Later, Iran fired rockets towards Israel. Four US military bases in Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain were attacked, as well as the US Fifth Fleet service center.

At the same time, the IDF launched a massive airstrike on military installations in western Iran. In addition, 70,000 Israeli reservists were called up for military service. In the city of Bushehr, where the Bushehr NPP is located, two facilities were attacked. Rosatom said that the NPP continues to operate normally.

Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the situation around Iran with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov condemned the "unprovoked armed attack" by the United States and Israel on Iran.
