Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is in the crisis headquarters and is leading the fighting. This was reported by the Lebanese TV channel Al Mayadeen, citing a source.

According to the source, Khamenei, as during the war in the summer of 2025, personally manages the conduct of military operations.

Maysam Mozaffar, a representative of the Tehran Mayor's Office, said that Khamenei's son-in-law and daughter-in-law were killed in rocket attacks on the capital of the Islamic Republic.
