The conflict between Iran, Israel, and the United States threatens the security of not only the Middle East, but the entire world. This was announced on February 28 by the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Andrei Denisov, to Izvestia.

"The events are becoming truly apocalyptic," the senator believes.

According to him, it can be assumed with great confidence that the authors of this "aggressive action" expect to carry it out in a short time. Whether they will succeed remains an open question. At the same time, Denisov did not rule out that the conflict would acquire a much broader scale "than last year's short-term action by the United States and Israel against Iran."

The senator also called for concerted efforts on various international platforms to give a proper assessment of the open aggression against Iran, which, in his opinion, is designed to demonstrate American hegemony.

Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the situation around Iran with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia demands that the situation around Iran be immediately brought back to a political and diplomatic settlement. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov condemned the "unprovoked armed attack" by the United States and Israel on Iran.
