The United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran, which were accompanied by a large-scale cyberattack. This was reported by Politico on February 28.

The strikes targeted targets in Iran, including the complex where the supreme leader is usually located and the base of the Iranian military. Other important military installations were also affected.

The Iranian authorities have confirmed that the country has been subjected to cyber attacks. The cybersecurity center said it was taking measures to protect important systems. To protect public services and neutralize these threats, Iran has strengthened the protection of networks and services.

"Numerous measures have been taken in the country's communication networks and services in order to ensure the sustainability of public services and neutralize the cognitive aggression of the enemy," TASS quoted the text of the message.

Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran on the morning of February 28. Also, the American leader Donald Trump announced the beginning of a US military operation against Iran.

Later, Iran fired rockets towards Israel. The US Fifth Fleet maintenance center was shelled in Bahrain. In addition, Iran attacked four US military bases in Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. Against this background, the United States began evacuating some personnel from the Al-Udeid airbase in Qatar.

At the same time, the IDF launched a massive airstrike on military installations in western Iran. The city of Shiraz was attacked. In addition, 70,000 Israeli reservists were called up for military service.
