Finland warned about a decrease in air defense supplies to Kiev due to the situation with Iran

Kiev will not receive enough air defense systems against the background of the outbreak of hostilities against Iran and should think about speeding up the peace process. This was stated on February 28 by Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party.

According to the politician, the situation with the shortage of weapons should be a good reason to start active negotiations with Russia.

"The conflict with Iran means a reduction in the number of air defense systems for Ukraine. Now is the right time for [the President of Ukraine] to negotiate an end to the conflict with Russia Vladimir Zelensky," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to him, 55,000 soldiers have been killed in four years.

On February 27, the Reuters news agency reported that the Ukrainian authorities are considering the possibility of creating joint consortia with Western partners that will produce new air defense systems. Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov said he had already discussed the idea of creating joint air defense enterprises with Zelensky.
