A number of commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and some officials were killed in strikes against Iran. This was reported on February 28 by the Reuters news agency, citing a source.

"As a result of the American-Israeli strikes, several high—ranking commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and political figures were killed," the article says.

In addition, the agency claims that the main targets of the attack by Israel and the United States were Iran's Supreme leader Ali Khamenei and President of the Republic Masoud Peseshkian.
