Sobyanin announced the landscaping of the People's Militia stations

The Moscow authorities plan to take measures to improve the territory near the Narodnoe Opolchenie transport hub. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in the MAX.

He recalled that the hub includes two metro stations — the current BKL and the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line under construction, as well as urban land transport routes. It is planned to reorganize the adjacent territory with an area of 9.07 hectares.

In particular, according to the mayor, a square will appear at the intersection of Marshal Zhukov Avenue and Demyan Bedny Street. About 1.4 km of the road network will also be reconstructed: the roadway will be expanded, new pedestrian zones, ground crossings and bike paths will be equipped.

In addition, a public and business complex will be built on the western side of the square, Sobyanin added.

The day before, Sobyanin announced plans to improve the territory of the former industrial zone of Ogorodny Passage with an area of more than 330 hectares. According to the mayor, almost 500,000 square meters of residential real estate, two business centers and a private educational complex have already been built there. The construction of both residential buildings and social infrastructure facilities, including a technology park, two schools and two kindergartens, continues. The further development plan for the Ogorodny Proezd industrial zone provides for the construction of about 1.9 million square meters. housing, four educational complexes and a kindergarten for 250 children, seven multifunctional centers and two sports complexes.
