Schools in Iran have closed or switched to distance learning amid U.S. and Israeli strikes. This was announced on February 28 by the Ministry of Education of the country.
"Schools are being closed in some places in coordination with the provincial leadership and security councils," the ISNA news agency said in a statement.
It is noted that some classes are conducted in an online format.
Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran on the morning of February 28. The Reuters news agency said Iran was preparing to retaliate after the strikes on Tehran. American leader Donald Trump announced the start of a US military operation against Iran.
