The number of Russian tourists in Iran is critically small. Artur Muradyan, Vice President of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), told Izvestia on February 28.

He noted that at the moment information about organized tourists is being clarified, but given the current ban on the sale of a tourist product in Israel and Iran, there are no organized tourists through tour operators who have bought a complex product.

"It is worth clarifying that if Russian citizens can enter Israel without a visa, so there may be a large number of them there, then Iran has not issued visas in recent months, which means the number of Russians there is critically small. In terms of flows, they are negligible," Muradyan said.
