Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the office of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, said on February 28 that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) could launch strikes on the territory of Belarus to destroy the transponders of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

"As for the guidance tools, <...> [Zelensky] replied that if possible we will destroy all this," Podolyak said on the air of the Lithuanian edition of Delfi.

He explained that this approach is supposedly a kind of "defense mechanism."
